Skipping meals?

The best way to keep our meal portions under control is not to skip meals. Usually, we overeat when we are starved. When we reach this point, all reason goes out the window and we can’t eat fast enough to satisfy our hunger. Did you know that it takes 15 minutes for our system to signal that it is full? Did you also know that our thirst and hunger signals are the same? Think about this . . . when you think you are hungry you could actually be thirsty! Never skip breakfast, or any other meal for that matter. If we eat regularly throughout the day we shouldn’t have the out of control eating problem.
