			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Just a friendly reminder for you to <strong>drink more water</strong> as the weather warms up!</p>
<p><strong>Proper hydration is crucial for overall health.</strong>  Once you are dehydrated your body loses the ability to function at normal levels.  Now, add heat and exercise to this equation and you have a recipe for the following: light headedness, nausea, muscle fatigue and lack of coordination; the body’s natural ability to cool itself down. All of these will lead to heat exhaustion and in severe cases to a potential life-threatening condition known as heat stroke. <img class="alignright size-full wp-image-1028" title="glass of water-150x150" src="http://www.next-levelfitness.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/glass-of-water-150x1501.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" /></p>
<p><strong>How do you know if you are dehydrated?</strong> If you experience the sensation of cotton mouth and/or any of the symptoms above you are dehydrated. If you wait until you are thirsty to drink water you are already dehydrated.</p>
<p><strong>How much should you drink?</strong> <strong>At LEAST 8 glass of water each day.</strong>  The best way to hydrate is to drink water throughout the day all day.</p>
<p>The following applies to everybody but especially to the 6 pm folks: have an early lunch and keep it light and healthy so that you have an empty stomach by workout time.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our boot camp style workouts are peppered with a variety of exercises so that your body never gets a chance to adapt and has to work hard to learn how to respond to the new stress placed on muscles. This way of thinking is controversial in the fitness world and some experts claim that this method doesn’t give the body a chance to improve and master any specific exercise and therefore cannot be quantified to record improvement.</p>
<p>The way we see it, we don&#8217;t want the muscles to adapt and therefore we prompt them to react to the constant change of stress placed on them by using a variety of exercises. In addition to this, we use different methods and techniques involving, resistance, gravity, different angles, strength, speed and endurance, equipment and body weight. Do you want to be able to do a few exercises really well or do you want to able to respond well to any kind of muscle stress? How do we achieve this? Our group workouts focus on core strengthening! 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When working out outdoors apparel is so important. If you are not dressed appropriately you will not have a good experience and then you will start skipping workouts. Don&#8217;t let the weather hold you back.</p>
<p>Dress in layers with each layer providing a different feature. The first layer closest to the skin should be of performance material which wicks moisture away from your body; the second layer should be a warm material like wool or fleece; the third layer should trap-in the heat and keep you protected from the rain and/or wind. (Cotton does not provide any of these features.) </p>
<p>A water/wind proof jacket and gloves might just be the best investment you can make for winter outdoor workouts and will last you many years! But let&#8217;s not forget the thermal socks and hat. You don&#8217;t need to spend a small fortune getting all this gear. You can find good and cheap apparel at Marshall&#8217;s, TJMax, Target and Kohl’s. </p>
